A Little Caesars restaurant at 628 American Legion Highway in Roslindale closed after a health inspection on Friday, July 28, revealed multiple violations like rodents and insects, according to the Mayor's Food Court.

Health inspectors have found multiple problems there since 2021.

Inspectors left a lengthy to-do list for the restaurant's owners that included replacing moldy caulking at multiple sinks, repairing damage from a water leak, and cleaning a "visibly soiled" bathroom.

Pests were also mentioned multiple times in the report.

Inspectors found visible rodent droppings in two different areas and fruit flies in the bathroom. The restaurant's managers must produce a previous pest control report and an up-to-date one once the issues are fixed.

The pizzeria also had expired allergen certificates, and multiple sinks did not have hot water.

Little Caesars will be allowed to re-open when the violations are corrected or if the condition no longer exists.
